The World Energy Council’s definition of energy sustainability is based on three core dimensions: energy security, energy equity, and environmental sustainability. Balancing these three goals constitutes a ‘trilemma’ and is the basis for prosperity and competitiveness of individual countries. 125 countries has been assessed and ranked. Aggregated ranks of our region: Azerbaijan 31, Russia 44, Armenia 52, Turkey 50, Ukraine 48, Georgia 71. Countries with top three ranks: Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland respectively.
